I’ve updated my site a bit to get the Google ads to show up again like they used to. This time I’m gonna leave the site alone for a while. Whenever I tinker with the look and feel of the site, I usually forget to update the theme with the Google ad stuff, which results in no ads showing up on the site.
Well, now that it’s working, I’m just gonna leave it. I am close to getting my first check for the ads, and I am hoping that you will go to my site and click the ads often, so I can get paid.
I’ve been doing Google ads off and on for several years now. The rule to get paid by Google is that they have to owe you at least $100 before they will cut you a check at the end of a monthly pay cycle. If they don’t owe you at least $100 at the end of the cycle, they will just keep your money until your account attains the minimum amount.
Well, after only 3+ years of posting their ads on a few different sites that get very small amounts of traffic, I’m up to $85. I want all of you that are reading this to go click on my ads so I can finally get over that minimum of $100, and get my first check from Google. When I get my $100, we’ll all go to lunch, and I’ll pay (as long as the bill is under $100 of course).
